Purchasing Pumps

Do you offer both new and refurbished vacuum pumps?

Yes, we offer a selection of both new and refurbished vacuum pumps to meet various needs and budgets. Our refurbished pumps are fully tested and come with a warranty for added peace of mind.

What’s the difference between a new and refurbished pump?

New pumps come directly from the manufacturer and include the latest technology and full manufacturer warranties. Refurbished pumps, on the other hand, have been restored to optimal working condition by our team and are thoroughly tested before resale. Refurbished options are a cost-effective solution and come with a warranty as well.

What kind of warranty comes with refurbished pumps?

Our refurbished pumps come with a one-year warranty on labor and a three-month warranty on parts. This ensures that your investment is protected, and the pump operates within factory specifications.

Can you help me choose the right pump for my application?

Absolutely! Our team can guide you through the selection process based on your operational needs, system specifications, and budget (in coordination with your process team). We’ll help you determine the best pump for your specific application, whether it's new or refurbished.

Pump Repair Process

How long does it take to repair a vacuum pump?

Repair times vary depending on the extent of the damage, parts availability, and our current repair queue. However, we always aim for a fast turnaround. For urgent cases, we offer expedited service for an additional cost, subject to the pump's condition and parts availability.
Our standard repair times are as follows.
                -   Oil-lubricated pumps: Typically, within 2 weeks
                -   Dry pumps: 3 to 6 weeks
                -   Turbo pumps: 2 to 3 weeks.

Can I get a quote for vacuum pump repair services?

Of course! You can request a detailed quote by contacting us via phone, email, or by filling out our online form. Our initial quote will be based on a major rebuild repair.

What information do I need to provide when requesting a quote?

To provide an accurate quote, we’ll need the make, model, and serial number of your pump. It’s helpful to know the reason for the repair, whether the pump has accessories (like oil mist filters) that need servicing, and what type of lubricant it uses (if applicable). If you’re unsure, you can send us a picture of the pump tag—just be sure it’s the pump tag, not the motor tag!

Can I schedule a pick-up without a purchase order (PO)?

While we prefer to have a PO before pick-up, we can pick up the pump at your discretion. Once picked we will provide an initial formal quote authorizing us to complete the repairs IF the cost is within the quoted limit. We will proceed with the completion of the pump. Please note that delivery will not be scheduled until we have received a PO or credit card payment.

What if the repair cost does not exceed the initial quote?

If the cost remains within the original quote, we will proceed with the completion of the major rebuild repair. If the pump was picked up without a purchase order (PO) or the PO is still in process, we will request the PO before the delivery.

I received a quote, but the cost has now exceeded the original estimate. Can I cancel the repair?

If the repair costs exceed the original quote, we will notify you before proceeding. You can then choose whether to continue with the repairs or cancel the request. If you cancel, an evaluation fee will apply. We can either recycle the pump for you or return it disassembled.

I received a revised quote; how long do I have to decide whether to proceed with the repairs or not?

After receiving the revised quote, you have up to 2-3 weeks to decide. Repairs on the pump will be delayed until a decision is made, which can affect the time of completion and delivery.

Lubricants and Oil

I don’t know what oil to use for my pump. Can you help?

Yes, depending on the application, model number, and operating conditions, we can assist you in identifying the best oil for your needs.
